Assured Marketing, a rapidly expanding UK marketing agency, is celebrating recent successes in the industry as it moves into its third year.
The agency, formed in Hull in 2020 by marketing professionals Connor Hewson & Jack Story, has seen continued growth throughout their first two years of trading and is now entering its third on the back of successes at the 2022 UK Search Awards and the 2023 Northern Digital Awards.
In November of last year, Assured Marketing were presented with a Silver Award at the UK Search Awards and have since been named finalists at the Northern Digital Awards. The victory and nomination came as a result of their Search Marketing efforts for fellow creative business Astor Film Productions.
The Story So Far…
The Covid-19 Pandemic was responsible for pushing many businesses over the proverbial tipping point in terms of digitalisation. With the rate at which businesses digitised doubling almost overnight. For national and multinational organisations this transition, whilst disruptive, was not impossible. However, for the UK’s 5.2m small businesses, the pandemic and subsequent need to cater to a digital market caused a myriad of problems.
Enter, Assured Marketing. The then new agency was founded hoping to provide the opportunity which helped small businesses struggling with a sudden lack of footfall to focus on digital engagement. They set out to provide crucial marketing services to start-ups and SMEs, making complex solutions like Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click Advertising, more accessible.
Their mission was to keep small businesses relevant, competitive and agile through targeted and data-driven marketing campaigns. In this regard they saw a fairly successful first year in which they partnered with many different small enterprises throughout the UK and undertook a substantial amount of work in both the Public and Non-Profit sectors.
As 2022 arrived the business expanded beyond that of its board, hiring local professionals for positions in both Creative Design and SEO. The company saw inclined growth through early 2022 and then internal marketing efforts led to a rapid expansion of the agency’s client base towards the end of the year. It was at this point that the agency was nominated for both of their awards.
UK Search Awards 2022
Entering their campaign with Astor Film Productions into the UK Search Awards, the Assured Marketing team wanted to test their metal against some of the UK’s brightest search marketing talent after attaining results that they saw to be award-worthy. As it turned out, their presumptions were vindicated and they were awarded with the Silver Award for Best Low Budget SEO Campaign at an awards ceremony in London on 30th November 2022.
This national award had a large number of strong entries, making it even more impressive for the young agency to place second. At the time, Jack Story, one of Assured Marketing;’s Co-Founders expressed his delight at the achievement, saying “achieving this in such a short space of time since the formation of the business shows how committed our team members are to delivering exceptional services for every client”.
Northern Digital Awards 2023
Following their success toward the end of 2022, the team also put forward their SEO campaign to the judging panel at the Northern Digital Awards. Once again, they were rewarded with being made a finalist for the Best Low Budget campaign, coming up against a much larger number of competitors despite the awards being regional and not nationwide.
Whilst Assured Marketing ultimately did not triumph at the awards ceremony in Leeds on the 26th January, they have been able to move into 2023 with renewed confidence and an outstanding portfolio of work and achievements behind them.
