There are several ways quantum computing can enhance the automobile world, but the potential to produce self-driving cars is the one currently most talked about in and out of the industry. For instance, Testa, Volkswagen, and other car companies are currently developing driverless automobiles while doing research on quantum computing, with tech companies like Google and Apple following suit. Aside from self-operating vehicles, quantum computers can also be used to develop batteries and other automobile technologies that would improve people’s standards of living as well as decrease pollution and congestion.

Quantum technology would be pretty useful in the world of data analytics as well. For example, today’s conventional computers would find it impossible to solve problems relating to topological analysis because it examines the specific behaviors of geometric shapes rather than actual numbers; through quantum computers, these equations can be solved in a jiffy!
