Farming Simulator 22 Is Getting Better and Better

We got our first look at Farming Simulator 22 in April. So far, however, we have had to wait for a concrete display of the gameplay, which has allowed us to take a closer look at what the people at GIANTS Software are preparing for farmers in the latest title. The two-part gameplay display was presented during the official event (FarmCon 2021) dedicated to this title, while a few more trailers have been released subsequently.

The new version should be not only more beautiful but also the most comprehensive game of its kind. Get ready for more than 400 machines (John Deere, Zetor, CLAAS, Mack, and more) and tools from over 100 authentic brands, even more locations, the most diverse catalog of plants and animals, and a more realistic AI experience.

Main Innovations and Changes

The advanced and realistic season system will be one of the most important new aspects of Farming Simulator 22. Spring, summer, autumn, and winter will differ not only in appearance but also in conditions, which will have a real impact on the running of the farm.

The list of innovations and changes also includes advanced production chains, dynamic-wind impact on crops, automatic header height and slope adjustment in the combine harvester, manual gear shifting, realistic soil type impact on gameplay, and improved slurry application and realistic animations and sounds. The GIANTS Software team claims that all this is just the beginning.

3 New Features For More Realistic Farm Life Experience

The new features will try to make Farming Simulator 22 a more realistic farm life simulation by adding three new activities. Stone picking, soil rolling, and mulching will be among the new features. Furthermore, the ground textures have been redone, so players will note that the ground looks a lot better than in prior entries when toiling in the dirt.

Mulching in Farming Simulator 22 allows players to mulch grass and stubble left in fields after harvesting, improving soil quality and resulting in higher yields in the future. The thousands of stones found in the earth, though, can destroy even the greatest soil. Players will be able to remove stones using a stone-picking instrument coupled to a tractor or by burying them under the topsoil with a roller. If these stones are not removed, they may damage the other machinery that will be used to cultivate the field, limiting the amount of farm work that can be accomplished.

The soil rollers are a recent development that can assist boost yields. Seedbeds will be compacted when rolled over, resulting in a better yield. Farmers who build grasslands will benefit from a fertilization stage if they roll the soil over.

Beekeeping and Greenhouses

Loads of magnificent sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, horses, deer, and dogs were displayed in the latest trailer. And, yes, there are bees. If keeping your bees happy made you feel good in Valheim (which is a game of quite a different genre than Farming Simulator 2, resembling games that are popular in the eSports sections of betting sites on Bookmaker-Expert.com), beekeeping in Farming Simulator 22 will make you feel even better. It is not only about harvesting your bees’ honey, which you can sell locally or to cereal mills, but simply having bees on your farm can improve it in general. The pollination of canola, potatoes, and sunflowers will increase the output of such crops if beehives are placed near them.

Along with beekeeping, Farming Simulator 22 will feature greenhouses, which will help your farms stay lucrative throughout the winter months when you are plowing snow instead of fields (and when your bees are sleeping). If you keep your greenhouses well-watered, you can grow strawberries, lettuce, and tomatoes all winter long.

The Date of Release and Platforms

GIANTS has announced that it will tear down the borders that separate the Farming Simulator community. You will be able to join or invite other players to collaborate on managing your farm, developing your agriculture empire, or just fooling around, regardless of your platform.

Because the release of Farming Simulator 22 is set for November 22, 2021, developers still have time to uncover the new features. PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, as well as Google Stadia, are all target platforms to play the game.
