And you click on the settings option, After that, you will be taken to a new tab. There you will click on this option which says “Gaming” (with an Xbox logo).
And then you go this option which says “Game bar”. And from there toggle off this option which says “Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using game bar”. After that, you can also uncheck these two options which say “Open game bar using this button on a controller” and “Show game bar when I play full-screen games Microsoft has verified”
And then you will have successfully deactivated Game Bar in your Windows 10 computer.
Turn off the Xbox game DVR through the app
The Game DVR feature is a sub-feature of the Game Bar in Windows 10 which lets you record and also take screenshots of your gameplay. Disable the Xbox game DVR By Using The Registry
Using the registry is another method which you can implement to disable your Xbox game DVR in your Windows 10 computer. Just follow the simple steps above and you can disable this feature… Firstly press your Windows key and R simultaneously and you will see your “Run” command open up. And then you type in “regedit” and press enter. Then you open up your registry.
After that just go through the following steps: Then go to this file which says “HKEY_CURRENT_USER”. From there go to this file which says “System”. And then click on “GameConfigStore”. And there you will see this DWORD which says “GameDVR_Enabled”. So you right click on that file and click on this option which says “modify”. From there you change the value data from one to zero and then click on “OK”.
After that, you again go to your default registry menu and click on this file which says “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE”. And then you click on this folder which says “Software”. And then you click on this folder which says “policies”. So you click on that and then you click on this folder named “Microsoft”. After that, you click on this software which says “Windows”. After that, you go to an empty area in the “Windows” folder and right-click over there and click on “Key”. And you name that key file as “GameDVR”. After that, you go to that file and right-click on an empty space and make a new 32-bit DWORD there. And name it “AllowGameDVR”. And then you right click on that DWORD and click on “modify” and make sure that the value data there is set to zero.
