Today I will share a simple trick with you through which you can open any hidden file or say invisible hidden files easily. This trick is very helpful for people who don't want to go through the long process to show the hidden files and folders. Lets see the trick.
How to open hidden files and folders directlyOn right clicking any files or Folders and selecting properties we see options, "Read only" and "Hidden". Select and check the hidden option and click on apply to hide that files or folders.
Now in order to view or open that file or folder on old versions of Windows, you have to go to folder option from the control panel and then click on "Show hidden files, folders and drives" option. For Window 8 and above version you also have a direct "Hidden items" option in the top Quick access toolbar, just click on View and check mark on "Hidden items" option.
But We are using different TrickBut if you need to open the hidden files or folder without show hidden option selected then just click on the address bar in the file explorer (My computer) and you will see some written address like "H://docs". Now if you have a folder inside docs folder for example folder name is Pdfs. Then in the address bar adress add a slash "/" and write Pdfs so your new adress will be "H://docs/Pdfs" , now press enter, So you will be inside the Pdfs folder.
Now suppose you have a file inside docs folder named as "files1.pdf" which is hidden then to access this file just click on the address bar and after the given address add slash followed by your file name and extension like "H://docs/files1.pdf". Press enter and your file will be open.
Note: Using this process requires you to remember the files or folders name with the proper capitalization. If you type the the wrong name, error will be shown to you. You will also get the suggestion in the address bar when you type the name, choose your file/folder from the suggestion and open it.
So this is the little trick to open invisible hidden files without folder option in Windows. Tell me below if you have any questions.
